'American Condor', an American bird that lays eggs and hatches without sex

 

Two females of the genus California condor not only have no male partner, but also the male genetic DNA. U.S. wildlife researchers have discovered that the eggs hatch without hatching.

California Condor is an endangered species.

Scientists are surprised to find that California condors are capable of parthenogenesis or infertility.
