At least 15 percent tax for corporates: The main agreement finalized by the G20 countries

Leaders of the world's 20 major economies have agreed to a deal that would tax at least 15 percent of corporate profits.

The agreement follows the problem of multinational corporations diverting their profits to lower taxing countries.
All heads of state who attended the G20 summit in Rome agreed to the agreement.

Issues like climate change and corona are also on the agenda of the summit. This is the first direct meeting of G20 leaders since the outbreak.
China's Xi Jinping and Russia's Vladimir Putin were the only two members of the G20 group, which includes 19 countries and the European Union, to attend via video.
